Making your own Oudoor Rain Barrel could not be any easier, especially since we've given you all the deets to get 'er done!
All the needed materials can be purchased at your local Home Depot or Rona, if you're lucky Walmart might even have all the necessary bits and pieces! We've even checked with Kingston Utilities and if you want the EASIEST solution, you can order a "Ready to Go" rain barrel through them. If you're living in Kingston Ontario, you know that rain is the most frequent 'season' so why not put it to work for you? All you have to do is put a rain barrel in your backyard, preferable connected to a rain water trough, and voilà, you've got an unlimited source of water!
We recommend you use this water for your gardens, grass and plants and NOT for drinking or use within your home.
